Saving Grace Foundation

Where Love, Healing, Hope, and Second Chances Begin

The All Good Ways Family is expanding.

In our continued effort to provide safe, compassionate, and rehabilitative care to animals in need, we are proud to introduce the All Good Ways Saving Grace Foundation.

Saving Grace was created from a simple belief: every animal deserves the opportunity to heal, to feel safe, to be loved, and to know what it means to have a home.

We are currently accepting donations to help support the Foundation's mission and the development of our facility and ranch. Every contribution will help provide animals in need with the food, shelter, medical care, rehabilitation, training, enrichment, and patience they need to become ready for their forever homes.

It All Started With Grace

Before there was a foundation, there was Grace.

Grace is a Pit Bull mix who came into a service dog training facility in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The facility had a beautiful practice of working with rescue organizations whenever they could, giving animals who had experienced difficult lives an opportunity to learn, heal, and become something more than the circumstances they came from.

Grace had been found in rural South Carolina.

She was chained, abandoned, scarred, and furless — and she had puppies.

She came into the world of people carrying the scars of what she had endured. She was frightened, uncertain, and unsure whether the world was a safe place. Because of her uncertainty and the trauma she had experienced, Grace was sent for rehabilitation.

And somewhere along that journey, Grace chose me as her handler.

As we worked together, I began to see something in her that I couldn't ignore.

Behind the fear was a dog who wanted to trust.

Behind the scars was a dog who wanted to love.

Behind the uncertainty was a dog who had so much potential.

Grace's rehabilitation became more than training. It became a relationship built on patience, trust, communication, and the understanding that sometimes an animal doesn't need to be given up on — they simply need someone willing to give them the time and opportunity to become who they were always capable of being.

Eventually, as my life and business expanded, there was no one else who had been successful in continuing Grace's training and rehabilitation in the way she needed. Sadly, euthanasia became an option that was being considered.

I knew Grace.

I knew her potential.

And I knew that she deserved a chance.

So, I adopted her.

I made Grace a promise.

I promised her that I would give her everything she deserved — a world to see, a yard in a good home, and a family.

I promised her that her past would not define the rest of her life.

And I kept that promise.

The Dog Who Saved Me

People may say that I saved Grace.

But the truth is, Grace saved me.

She became not only my Service Dog, but the heart of All Good Ways.

Grace has lived a life that once seemed impossible for the frightened, scarred dog who arrived from rural South Carolina.

She has wrangled horses with me, traveled the world, experienced adventures, and grown alongside me. Today, she is the guardian of our home and a beloved part of our growing family.

Grace showed me what can happen when an animal is given something that they may never have known before:

time.
patience.
safety.
trust.
love.

She showed me that rehabilitation isn't simply about teaching an animal commands.

It is about helping them learn that the world does not always have to hurt.

That a human hand can be gentle.

That a full bowl will come again tomorrow.

That a warm bed is theirs to sleep in.

That they don't have to be afraid of being beaten.

That their needs will be met.

That they are worth saving.

Saving Grace

That is the mission of the Saving Grace Foundation.

Through our facility and ranch, we hope to provide animals like Grace with the opportunity to receive wholesome rehabilitation, compassionate care, and appropriate training so they can be prepared for the forever homes they deserve.

Our goal is to create a place where animals can begin to heal from whatever came before.

A place where they can learn.

A place where they can decompress.

A place where they can discover who they are outside of fear and survival.

And ultimately, a place that helps prepare them for families who will love them for the rest of their lives.

We want every animal that comes through our program to have the chance to know a life where they don't have to wonder:

When will I eat?

Will I be hurt?

Will someone abandon me again?

Will I have what I need?

Instead, we want them to learn:

I am safe.

I am cared for.

I am loved.

I have a future.

The Meaning Behind All Good Ways

The name All Good Ways has always carried a deeper meaning.

We believe that when we approach the things we do with a good heart and good intentions, we can achieve a kind of gracefulness that is God-given.

Grace is not simply the name of one dog.

Grace is the foundation of what we believe.

It is the grace given to us.

The grace we extend to others.

The grace we give animals who have been forgotten.

And the grace that allows healing, second chances, and new beginnings to happen.

Saving Grace is our mission, but it is also our hope to fulfill what we believe is God's purpose for us: to spread love, healing, and hope wherever we can.

Grace was given a second chance.

Now, through the Saving Grace Foundation, we want to help give that same chance to others.

Saving Grace.

Love. Healing. Hope. Second Chances.

Help Us Save the Next Grace

The Saving Grace Foundation is growing, and we cannot do this alone.

Donations will help support the development and operation of our facility and ranch and provide the resources necessary to care for animals while they heal and prepare for their forever homes.

Your support can help provide:

  • Food and essential necessities

  • Safe shelter and comfortable living spaces

  • Veterinary and medical care

  • Rehabilitation and behavioral support

  • Training and enrichment

  • Safe exercise and socialization

  • Recovery and decompression time

  • Resources to prepare animals for adoption

  • Continued care for animals who need additional time before they are ready for a home

Every animal has a story.

Some stories begin with neglect.

Some begin with fear.

Some begin chained to a tree, abandoned, scarred, and unsure whether people can be trusted.

But their beginning does not have to be their ending.

Grace's story is proof of that.

Help us write more endings where animals are safe, loved, and finally home.
